1880-1890
German and Polish Heritage
Deloris's maternal grandparents, Martin Kwiatkowski, and Wadyslawa Koposcinska, were born in Poland. Martin Kwiatkowski was born in 1880 in Warsaw, Poland, and Wadyslawa Koposcinska was born in 1890 in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Poland.
Deloris's paternal grandparents, Frank Selewski and Martha Miller, were born in Germany. Frank Selewski was born in 1883 in Prueßen, Germany. Martha Miller was born in 1891 in central Germany.

German and Polish Immigration
Martin immigrated to New York, USA on April 2, 1906. Wadyslawa traveled to Hamburg, Germany and immigrated to New York on March 22, 1906.
Frank immigrated to New York, USA out of Germany on January 3 in 1888. No records of Martha's immigration could be found.

Migration and Marriage in the USA
After arriving in New York, both grandparents moved to Michigan. They settled in Detroit and Hamtramck, the Polish capitol of Michigan. Frank and Martha met and married in 1907, and Martin and Wadyslawa met and married 1908.
In 1907, Frank and Martha's son George is born. In 1909, Martin and Wadyslawa's daughter Marya is born.

George and Marya's Marriage
In 1925, Deloris' parents George and Marya (now called Mary) meet for the first time. George's good looks and Mary's cute personality made them the perfect pair. The two get married on July 2 in 1927 in Detroit, and welcome their first child, Deloris, into the world on February 13, 1928.

Deloris' Family Life
Deloris and her family live in Detroit till ___, when they move to 1225 Dequindre Rd, Troy, Michigan. Deloris continues to live in the Troy area as she meets and marries her husband, John Sabon in 1947. The two move into their own house and begin a family.
From 1949 to 1962, Deloris has four boys: Jerry, Kenny, Michael, and Philip. When Philip turns 7, Deloris and John decide to move up north to Grayling, Michigan in 1969.

1980s-Present
Philip and Laurel's Marriage
Deloris and John's youngest son, Philip, moves to Lansing, Michigan in ___ for college. Philip meets Laurel Werner in 1989 and gets married in ___. 6 years later, Philip and Laurel move to Brighton, Michigan, where their first child, Ryan is born in 1994. Six years later, on June 22, 2000, they welcome their daughter McKenna into the world. They live in Brighton till this day.
Deloris and John continued to live in Grayling until 2007, when they moved into a condo in Chesterfield, Michigan.
